Staffordshire Moorlands District Council are committed to improving its leisure services for those who live, work and visit our district.
We are investing a combined total of £17m in the fantastic redevelopment of Brough Park Leisure Centre, which will transform the facility, add new spaces for people to be active and make the centre more environmentally friendly.
The project includes:
- Replacing the current 4 lane pool with a 6 lane pool
- New learner pool and village changing provision
- Increasing the size of the gym from 35 stations to 60 stations
- Dedicated Spin studio with 25 bikes
- Increase studio provision
- Improve food and beverage offering
- Introduce a new indoor adventure soft play
- Introduce a new community wellness suite
- Refurbishment of existing dry changing room facilities
- Refurbishment of sports hall
- Improvement to external areas of the centre to encourage community wellness and informal spaces
